Late Roman Marble Mosaic Panel
The rectangular panel of black, brown, cream, gray and white tesserae, comprising four adjacent diamonds in the center forming a single large diamond, each filled with geometric designs, the triangular voids filled with diagonal lines; the whole raised on a later metal base.
18 1/2 in. x 7 ft. 11 in. x 4 ft. 7 3/4 in. overall.

Scattered losses, replacements and staining. Largely intact, impressive scale.
