Augarten Wien, Vienna Porcelain Manufactory (Austrian, founded 1718), 20th century. Group of two Spanish Riding School equestrian porcelain figurines comprising: "Capriole" (1833) modeled by Professor Herbert Schwarz and "Levade Without Rider" (1550), modeled by Karin Jarl-Sakellarios; on wooden bases. Both with impressed and printed marks to underside. Approx. of "Capriole", h. 12", w. 7", d. 5.5" (without base).
Condition
"Levade" with broken reins (pieces included - may not all be present); "Capriole" with broken reins (pieces not present); no apparent chips, cracks or restorations when examined under ultraviolet light.
