Chinese Ming Dynasty ChengHua Doucai Flower Porcelain Cups. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, slight deep, thick, flaring mouth rim with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward the close mouth rim, raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against doucai design color, depicted of flower bloom above thrashing lishui wavy waves bellow vapors and scrolling ruyi clouds. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The Under base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine blue rectangles lines. Made in The Years ChengHua Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
