Chinese Doucai Chicken Crock Porcelain Cup. The porcelain potted in a shallow, slight deep, flaring rim with close mouth rim, raised on ring foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white color which contrast against DouCai design color, depicted of chicken Crock and chicks walking through flower bloom, foliage and Rockies. The design is well-proportioned, the clay fine and exquisite, the glaze smooth with a moist appearance, the finishing meticulous. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue rectangle lines. Made in The Years of Chenghua Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
