Condition
**In very good restored condition. The surface is in very good condition, with evidence of normal mars,
shrinkage, abrasions, small losses and wear beneath the finish.
The bed is sturdy and functional, exhibiting no movement when a post is shaken vigorously. The side and
foot rail hardware has been changed from its original bolt construction. Side rails lengthened about 3" and
foot rails/headboard widened about 2".
The tester crest and headboard crest are replacements.
The inside measurement between the rails is 62-1/2". The inside length is 85-3/4". A contemporary
queen mattress is about 60" by 80". This should have ample room to accommodate the intrusion of the
posts at the corners.
