Description
A pair of cast bronze figures known as "Edan" by the Ogboni society, and is said to resemble the Yoruba deity Onile, the owner of the earth, who takes on both male and female forms. Yoruba peoples, Nigeria, Africa. The pair have been custom mounted and measure 8 inches ( 9 inches tall on stand). Provenance: A Private New Jersey collection.
