C. W. CAHOON "COTTAGE DIRIGO" NO. 0 LIP BURNER, thumbwheel marked "COTTAGE DIRIGO", and on top of thumb rest "CHA'S W. CAHOON / PAT'D FEB. 19th. & DEC. 3rd 1861", period opaque white lip chimney. Fitted on a starch blue Berkshire Variant finger lamp, applied handle with thumb rest, No. 1 fine line collar. Third quarter 19th century. Lamp 3 3/4" H to top of collar, 3 1/8" D base.
