PIERCED BRASS AND BLOWN MOLDED PRESENTATION LANTERN, large strap handle, pierced base with stars and top with stars and diamonds, pear-form fixed colorless globe with intricately engraved floral wreath surrounding "A. Abbott", removable brass font with spring mechanism to underside of base, No. 1 inset collar. Fitted with an E. Miller wide-wick burner. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. Third quarter 19th century. 16 1/2" HOA, 5 3/4" D base.

Condition

Very good condition with minute denting, font with some repairs, globe undamaged.
