Yangshao Culture, Banshan Type, 3rd Millenium BC. Bulbous Jar with ridge at equator, geometric figures, two small loop lugs, standing collar with flared rim, the upper half decorated in red and black over the terracotta clay, roughly 11” x 14” x 12”. Provenance: From the Estate of Frank Cowan.
