COLONIAL NEW JERSEY AUTOGRAPH SIGNED DOCUMENTS (2), 18TH C., ROBERT H. MORRIS & LEWIS MORRIS:Including 1 indenture document signed by Robert H. Morris (1700-64), as well as John Wills and Jasper Smith, dated April 18th, 1760; and 1 record of Joseph Brittain selling land to (appears to be) Woodruff Stephen Cary, John Riggs, and others, signed by Lewis Morris (1726-1798, American land owner and developer, signer of the U. S. Declaration of Independence as a delegate to the Continental Congress), as well as Joseph Baker, Joseph Brittain and Susannah Brittain, dated June 14th, 1787.
Condition
Condition as to be expected considering age and material of documents and is fairly evident in the photos provided. The first is marred on one corner. The second has a one inch tear along the crease and has several stains throughout. ENC
