Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue and White Flower Porcelain Plate. The plates has a broad wide central interior, rounded mouth lip, thick and large, raised on correspondence footed ring base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of flowers bloom interspersed fresh foliage, enclosed with scrolling interlocking ruyi. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
