Pair of Chinese Qing Dynasty Kangxi Wucai Porcelain Lidded Jars. Potted with a large cylindrical vessel, jar shape, straight belly, round mouth rim, short neck with official hat dome lid finial bud, and raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against Wucai design color, depicted of a man catch frog in the continuous picture in flori petals surrounded with thrashing lishui wavy waves. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim. Made in The Years KangXi Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
