DESCRIPTION: A fine 9.5 inch tall mirror pair of Japanese cloisonne vases attributed to Namikawa Sosuke. They feature sparrows on flowering braches and colorful flowers below. The top and bottom have pale yellow stylized hoho birds set against a pale red background. Set against a pale speckled grey background. Very interesting shape with square tops seamlessly connected to round bottoms.
