A FRENCH RENAISSANCE STYLE ENAMELED, GILT AND CARVED OAK LIDDED CASKET, 19TH CENTURY. The base containing eight enameled copper plaques with a Count of Flanders representing each of the eight different houses, and contained within carved oak fluted columns, the end panels with translucent enameled coats of arms, and below an enameled cover depicting an interior court scene. Length 9.5 inches (24 cm).
