French Gothic Style Carved Oak Tallcase Clock, late 19th c., the stepped crown over a brass repousse face with the Virgin Mary, around an enamel dial clock, time and strike, painted with a retailers name of "Doulas a Pont l'Abbe," over a glazed Gothic arch mullioned pendulum door, on a floral carved base, with a brass lyre form pendulum and iron weights, H.- 91 in., W.- 20 in., D.- 11 in.

Condition

Condition consistent with age and use. Surface scratches and minor dents evident throughout. Evidence of possible wood worm damage. Bottom interior shelf base now lacking. A beautiful piece.
