A VICTORIAN FLORAL PAINTED BLACK LACQUER PAPIER MACHÉ TILT TOP TABLE, POSSIBLY ENGLISH, SECOND HALF 19TH CENTURY, with a circular hinged top centering a hand painted bouquet of various species of blossoming leafy stems, on an ovoid form stem centering parcel gilt scrolling foliage and raised on a conforming domed base with similar gilding, elevated on short curling feet with delicately gilt flowering devices.
