the text reads: Oh ye young, ye gay / Ye proud. You must Die / and wear the shroud, time will rob / You of your bloom Death will drag / You to the tomb. Will you go to heaven / of hell. One you must and their to dwell. / Christ will come, and quickly too / I must meet him so must you.

Framed: 19 x 15 3/4 inches.In overall attractive and mostly complete condition. Some minor areas of loss to the background of the text tablet. Areas of color faded, consistent with exposure to sunlight. The ground is somewhat browned.
