Antique DeMoulin Bros Trick Surprise Wood Leather Chair. This unique chair is one of many lodge initiation devices from the DeMoulin Bros & Co. This particular item, called the "Surprise Chair," was patented in 1900. Once your victim sits in the chair, you can pull the rope (attached to the underside) to make the legs fold into one another, and the chair tips backwards. Dimensions are 56 in h x 22.25 in w x 20.75 in d. Condition is fair. There is significant wear to the wood and to the leather. The metal iss oxidized and somewhat rusted.
