Dong Apron/Skirt, China, 19th C. Open, wrapped, cotton tabby cloth skirt composed of a plain waistband and twenty-two bands of tabby cloth, the ends embroidered in silk, with tassels of seed beads, cloth triangles and feathers. Dong People, Southeastern Guizhou Province, Liping County. Size: 20'' x 41'', (51 x 104 cm). Provenance: Ex. Roger Hollander collection.
