Dong Indigo-Dyed Jacket, China, Late 19th-Early 20th C. Medium length front opening jacket of cotton tabby cloth with embroidered silk spiraling roundels on patches on the back and lower front, quilted rectangles trimming upper back, short sleeves, applique and embroidery at hem and side slits. Southeastern Guizhou Province, Liping County. Size: 27'' x 25.75'', (69 x 65 cm). Provenance: Ex. Roger Hollander collection.
