Potted with a large cylindrical vessel, jar shape, globular belly heavy on shoulder, round mouth rim, short neck with reverse bowl dome lid finial bud, and raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against famille rose design color, depicted of carps swim through water plants, flower bloom, sea grass and enclosed with auspicious pattern. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, Made in The Years JiaJing Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
