This 1980s Galanos dress is a taupe silk with large abstract dots, and the midriff is a contrasting ivory silk. The skirt is two layers, the shorter of which is split in the front (see photo). Although the sleeves drape softly, they are pleated at the shoulder and gathered along the inside seam, which makes them actually quite full (see photo). The dress also has a standing collar, padded shoulders, and back zipper for closure. Unlined. No size label is present, so based on the measurements, we are estimating it to be closest to a modern size 10.
