Description
William McKim (1916-1995)
Two Redheads
Third quarter of the 20th century.
The painting on Masonite panel is signed lower left front.
A native of Kansas City, Missouri, William McKim taught at the Kansas City Art Institute after serving in World War II, having studied there under John De Martelly and Thomas Hart Benton before the war.
Panel measures 16 x 12, frame size 22.75 x 18.75 inches.
Provenance: The estate of Morton and Estelle Sosland.
In Kansas City, the Sosland family name is synonymous with both giving, and the arts. We happily provide seamless in-house packing and shipping services on nearly everything we sell.
Until further notice, we cannot offer international shipping in-house.
