A good lot of war date Confederate documents, each 1p. 4to., various places, 1862-64, including an A.L.S. by Phillip Thieno[?] to a 'Major Vass' on Confederate letterhead transmitting money for a debt, an A.L.S. written by Joseph Daphny in Georgia to a relative regarding the estate of his Confederate brother who was killed, a D.S. by the ordnance sergeant of the 30th Georgia infantry commuting rations to Dr. Joseph Wyatt, and another D.S. by an adjutant ordering a Confederate commissioner in Mobile to disregard a previous order. Conditions vary but mostly good. Four items.
