Condition
Overall very good professionally restored condition. Scattered areas of abrading, especially along upper edge where canvas meets frame; some surface scratches/whitish accretions at center, upper right and lower right, small other spots; some darkening of varnish layer. Overall craquelure. Evidence of past restoration: inpainting scattered throughout (face and hand virtually untouched), difficult for uv light to completely penetrate varnish layer. Painting has been relined. Frame with abrasions and losses throughout.
