Egyptian, Late Period, 30th Dynasty 4th cent. B.C. or later.Green glazed faience. H. 11.5Mummy-shaped funerary figure, so called Shabti, of Pa-dj-nj-Isis. The owner wears a string wig and holds in his hands agricultural implements. The front and back of the figure are each inscribed with a vertical line of inscriptions giving the title, name and filiation of Pa-dj-nj-Isis (Greek: Padanasias). Good preservation, traces of sintering.Collection Carl Leonhard Burckhardt (1902-1965).
