A view of the old Massachusetts College of Art in Boston. This building is on the corner of Exeter and Newbury Streets.

Louis Novak was a Hungarian-American artist, or Czech-American as some refer to him. The region his family was from became part of Czechoslovakia after World War I. His family immigrated to the United States when he was a young child, where they settled in Cambridge, Massachusetts after living briefly in New York City. He taught at Wentworth Institute for many years. The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston has a nice collection of his work.

Condition

Condition: Good condition, minor discoloration in the upper margin. Remains of old hinges on verso.
