Scarce Brigham Young Signed Card

A Brigham Young 3.635" x 2.25” card, signed “Brigham Young” in blue ink.

Brigham Young (1801-1877) was an American religious leader and politician. He was the second president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and led the mass migration to Salt Lake Valley. He founded Salt Lake City and served as the first governor of the Utah Territory.

By the time of his death, Brigham Young had married fifty-five times. Nineteen had predeceased him, ten received divorces, four are unaccounted for, and twenty-three survived him. Seventeen wives received a share of his estate, while the remaining six apparently had nonconjugal roles.

This item comes with a Certificate from John Reznikoff, a premier authenticator for both major 3rd party authentication services, PSA and JSA (James Spence Authentications), as well as numerous auction houses.
