Rubbing, corners bumped. Fore-edges look to have faded marbling(?). Toning, foxing, soiling. 2. SHOBERL, FREDERIC [ED.]. The World in Minatiature. Turkey, Being A Description of the Manners, Customs, Dresses, and Other Peculiarities Characteristic of the Inhabitants of the Turkish Empire, to which is prefixed a sketch of the History of the Turks. Vol. III only (of six). With seventy-three color engravings of costumes. 16mo (5 3/4 x 3 3/4 in.). Full Calf, gilt blocked covers, spine with blind-stamped design, gilt-decorated bands, and gilt green labels. Marbled endpapers. All edges gilt. Fair-Poor. Considerable toning, and dark staining/dampstaining on upper corners throughout.
