Description
Wilson & Davis (English, 1870-1883). Victorian era six-piece silverplate hot beverage service, each piece with scrolled foliate decoration and cartouche, comprising: a tilting hot water kettle on stand, a coffee pot, a tea pot, an open sugar bowl, and a cream jug. Each marked to underside with marks for Sheffield. Provenance: The Private Collection of Ms. Mary Grigsby, Atlanta, Georgia. Approx. h. 15.75", w. 12", d. 8" (hot water kettle).
Condition
Minimal surface scratches and plating loss - some to underside; no apparent engraving removal.
