George Peers (English, Chester, d. 1866), 19th century. Oak and mahogany veneered inlaid tall case or grandfather clock, having a hood with swan neck pediment, the moon phase with landscape and nautical scenes, floral spandrels, and Roman numerals to the dial, rising on bracket feet. Marked to face. Approx. h. 91.25", w. 21.5", d. 10".

Condition

Glass is cracked in door; some rubbing to date aperture and face; untested; weights, pendulum and key are present.
