American school bust portrait painting of a young woman with dark curled ringlets and brown eyes, against a plain brown background. The face is painted with great detail while her shoulders, dress, and background are rendered loosely. Unsigned. Housed in a plain dark stained wood frame. Sight: 15 7/8" W x 20 1/2" Framed: 20 7/8" W x 25 1/8" H. 19th Century.
