Chinese Qing Dynasty Period Blue & white Floral Motif Vase. The Porcelain potted in a hexagonal shaped vase, large, thick and tall, slightly oval body, tapered gracefully toward straight tall cylindrical neck, with slight flaring mouth rim, raised with short hexagonal foot base and slight concave. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white under glazed base color which contrast against the cobalt blue fine color, depicted of big flowers blooms in a rectangles medallion form, surrounded with abundant flowers blooms interspersed scrolling tendril and foliage. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the under glaze grayish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design.

Mark on base, a six under glazed blue seal script characters reign mark, Made In The Years of Qianlong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
