Chinese Ming Dynasty JiaJing Red and Yellow Porcelain Jar. Potted with a large cylindrical vessel, jar shape, globular belly heavy on shoulder, round mouth rim, short neck, and raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in red base color which contrast against yellow fine color, depicted of phoenix and imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. The glaze has smooth texture and moisturizing, glossy quality. Which attracting unceasingly admiration.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years JiaJing Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
