Japanese Lacquer Panel Inlaid with Mother of Pearl, Meiji Period. Extensively well carved and inlaid mother of pearl, birds, flowers and leaves fill the black lacquer plaque. This quality subject and material were very popular from around the 1860’s to about 1910.
Dimension: Framed 14" high x 20" wide Unframed 11 3/4" high x 18" wide.
