This BEAUTIFUL cotton 40's blue and brown baskets quilt is hand pieced, hand appliqued and hand quilted, with unusual, small scale flowers and birds. It measures 80" X 92" and is in excellent condition, with a couple of small spots and no wear. The quilting is superb, with quilting around the piecework and applique and in grid and feathered designs in the background, all at 6-7 stitches to the inch. The back is white, the hand stitched binding is the same brown print used in the interior, and the batting is thin.
