A LARGE CINNABAR LACQUER 'DRAGON' SNUFF BOTTLE, 1820-1900
China. Of compressed globular form, rising from an oval foot ring with recessed base towards a cylindrical neck, carved in high relief depicting a continuous scene of two five-clawed dragons amongst clouds in pursuit of the flaming pearl, all within a lotus scroll border. With a matching stopper.

Provenance: British trade.
Condition: Good condition with nibbling to the mouth, a few nicks to the relief, a missing pearl to the neck, and minor touchups to the relief.

Stopper: The matching cinnabar lacquer stopper with green stained bone platelet, carved spoon

Dimensions: Height including stopper 85 mm. Diameter neck 25 mm and mouth 6 mm.

中國。掏膛良好，寬肩微削，橢圓形圈足，圓柱形短頸，平唇。雷紋地、高浮雕兩隻五爪雲龍雲中戲珠，頸部雷紋地花卉紋，肩部卷葉紋。相配壺蓋。

來源：英國古玩市場。
品相：狀況良好，唇部有磕損，浮雕上有幾個刻痕，頸部有一顆珠紋缺失，浮雕有輕微的修飾。
