Silk and Gold, the eight Stupas Tibetan Choten)
Representing the eight reliquary mound housing the ashes of the remains of Buddha Shakyamuni. Arising historically from the Caitya, the funerary mound of early Buddhism. The textile used to cover the deceased body during the funeral service.
