These Danish mid-century chairs were designed by Erik Kirkegaard, c. 1952. This pair is the low-back version of Kirkegaard's model 56 armchairs. These attractive chairs feature slender but sturdy wood frames with flattened arms for additional comfort and visual interest. A great example of 1950's Scandinavian modern style. Dimensions: H 32.75" x W 23.5" x D 22" x SH 17" Condition: A few scratches and marks to upholstery consistent with use. One with some fading to upholstery. K197
