Description
The story goes, as some unscrupulous art dealer from the Cleveland area got the Les Miz bug. Upon the arrival in NYC pre March 12, 1987, he, (or she) decides to memorize the libretto and music prior to the Broadway debut of Les Miserable. One late evening while Walking the streets of the Broadway Theatre area, and caught up in a mesmerizing moment, the audacious almost criminally minded art dealer decides to snatch a phone booth poster of this iconic moment in musical theater history. This piece has been placed in garages and basements, amongst the 20th century masterpieces spread about, sooner or later to be sold one by one. The end result, this Les Miz poster still survives the decades of abuse, and admiration of the most famous of all musicals, Les Miserables. Footnote: They have not caught the art dealer yet. Let the story continue on, and if you want a clue here goes. He (or she) once caught a taxi for Frances Ruffelle.
Condition
Poor, some blotches spawned around. Some fading in the back color of the original white background. But all in all, it continues to survive its fate of ownership to the next lucky person. Restoration highly recommended.
