Grouping of identified United States World War I medals/documents including 1.) WWI Victory medal with CHAMPAGNE-MARNE, AISNE-MARNE, OISE-AISNE, MEUSE-ARGONNE, and DEFENSIVE SECTOR bars. Medal presents full wrap brooch and wear to ribbon. 2.) WWI city medal issued by Allentown, Pennsylvania Medal exhibits wear to ribbon. 3.) Pennsylvania National Guard Service medal for WWI. Medal exhibits slight wear to ribbon and is accompanied by ribbon bar. 4.) French Verdun "On ne passe pas" 1916 medal. Medal lack brooch. 5.)Small silver locket measuring 1.5" in diameter with cover engraved "MAURICE E. WAGNER, ALLENTOWN PA". Interior of locket presents 2 small girls with other side presenting WWI dog tag stamped "SAD. M.E. WAGNER. CO. C. 109T. M.G. BN. 28TH DIV. U.S.A.". Dog tag exhibits some wear. 6.) Red enameled keystone pin with "40/8" measuring 1.25" x 1.25". Enamel exhibits some chipping. 7.) Group of 3 pins (1-American Legion lapel stud, 1-Welcome Home 28th Div. pin and 1-Welcome 28 pin). 8.) Honorable discharge document for Maurice E. Wagner, as a Saddler in the 109th Machine Gun Battalion of the 28th Division dated May 6, 1919. 9.) Certified birth document citing Maurice E. Wagner's birth as June 7, 1892. 10.) A document issuing the French Verdun "On ne passe pas" 1916 medal to Maurice Edward Wagner. 11.) Velum document for Maurice E. Wagner from the City of Allentown for WWI service. Maurice Edward Wagner was born June 7, 1892 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He died on August 17, 1971 in Allentown, Pennsylvania and is buried in the Lehigh Zion Cemetery in Alburtis, Pennsylvania.
