This Handbook was issued to Pvt Newt Maple of New London, Missouri in 1900. It contains most of the basic rules and army regulations etc for the time as well as allowance sheets which were filled in in the back of the book reflecting the items issued to the soldier from 1900 to 1903 when he was discharged.
