A collection of early scripts and ephemera from the early broadcasting career of Casey Kasem. Included in this lot are:
Various scripts from Wayne University Radio Division, where Kasem attended college for Speech and Dramatics, graduating in 1957. The scripts are related to various radio shows and bits, including "The Adventures of Scoop Ryan, Cub Reporter;" A radio program feature from WJW-Radio in Cleveland, Ohio; A card given to Casey by fellow WBNY-Buffalo employees, that features handwritten messages in blue ink, as well as magazine and newspaper cut outs featuring various illustrated animals, children, elves, and clowns; A stack of early 1960s KEWB Oakland program logs; Fourteen early copies of Kasem's resume, including an original typed version with handwritten edits in blue ink; A Master Technician's Service Conference Film Script from 1952; A Detroit Local of the American Federation of Radio Artists Benefit Party pamphlet with an original photograph of Kasem at the mic; Various television show ideas and script mock ups including one for American Top 10.
