Description
Very nice example of an older Pueblo, much like Santa Clara, pot, measuring about 6" wide and 3 1/2" tall. Interesting as not heavily glazed when made, can see dusting of finish all over, really makes it look much older. No chips or cracks, shipping Priority Mail with Tracking and Insurance for $12.Tomasita Montoya - 1899-1978- was a well know Pueblo potter. She, along with other potters like Maria Martinez helped with creating the "tourist" interest in Native American Pottery.
Condition
Shows age, finish "dusty" as glaze was not applied heavily, looks like a much older piece- a very authentic to true native American before the contemporary glazes were applied.
