19th/20th century, comprising: box of shaped rectangular form, centered with ivory plaque hand painted depicting hairdresser of Marie Antoinette, signed "M Rois", mother of pearl inlay, fabric lined interior, foot stamped "Ovington/New York/France", 6-1/2 in.; rectangular box, top inset with porcelain plaque hand painted with bust of woman, signed "Wagner", fabric lined interior, 6-3/4 in.; porcelain rectangular box, relief decorated with putti, gilt bronze mounts, mask form escutcheon, paw form feet, button tufted cushion lined interior, impressed to base "Montereau/L.M. & Cie", marked "H", 13-1/4 in.
Provenance: First box purchased from Antique Corner, West Plains, Missouri, July 3, 2004 for $1,950 (with copy of receipt); Private Collection, Kingsport, Tennessee

scratching to gilt bronze mounts, wear to feet/bases, first box doesn't close flush, with key but doesn't fit, fabric interiors dirty, third box with button tufted interiors fabric frayed, detached from box, discolored
