1914 tercentenary seated Lady Liberty medal with emblematic symbols of New York in each hand. A cornucopia is displayed on bottom to symbolize abundance and the bountiful feast of Thanksgiving. Back of medal reads, (New Netherland Founded, 1614). Pilgrim and Native American figure stand bilaterally next to Mayflower ship with each holding a characteristic weapon. Below is a famous Native American symbol of the beaver signifying perseverance. Diameter 2 3/4 inches.
