1986 Fender Stratocaster 1957 Reissue. SERIAL NUMBER: V024899. COLOR: Lake Placid Blue Nitrocellulose Finish. WEIGHT: 7lbs. 6.4 ounces (3kg/360g). This wonderful guitar is 100% original, no modifications. They didn’t produce many of these in Lake Placid Blue, beautiful color. The body has several markings, dings, and scratches. It appears that someone forgot to place the tremolo arm in the case compartment and as a result the various marks you see on top of the body, giving it more of a reliced vintage charm. Guitar is 36 years old. Pick swirling is visible on the pickguard, and some light buckle rash on the bottom side of the body. There is some light patina to the tuners, screws, and strap buttons. Chrome is still shiny on the neck plate, tremolo bridge and jack cup. Matching pot codes are stamped 1378634 denoting the CTS Co. made in the 34th week of 1986. Original 3-way switch. The neck is in very good condition, some fretware on the lower frets, plenty of life left. Neck has a 7.25 radius, C shape profile. Decal is above the finish. Pencil date of 12-17-86 is located on the neck butt. This guitar comes with its original tweed case in very good vintage condition with keys (blue film still present on the latches), manual, ashtray bridge cover, tremolo arm and guitar strap.
