Description
An interesting broadside published by the August Courier, 1p. 11 x 15 in., June 17, 1963, titled 'MARTIN LUTHER KING...AT COMMUNIST TRAINING SCHOOL.' The bears a picture of King sitting in the crowd of a presentation, labeling individuals sitting near him. They include, as labeled below, Abner W. Berry, Aubrey Williams, and Myles Horton. Below the listed names is a caption that reads in full: 'These 'Four Horsemen' of racial agitation have brought tension, disturbance, strife, and violence in their advancement of the communist doctrine of 'racial nationalism.'' Accompanied by a typed letter explaining the context of the picture, and elaborating on the idea that King is a communist. Chipping to the margins and file holes, else fine.
