The Beatles "Get Back" Factory Sample 7-Inch Vinyl (R 577) Previously Owned by Ringo Starr. Held in a beautiful frame, this UK factory vinyl 7-inch for the Fabs' "Get Back" was once owned by Richard "Ringo Starr" Starkey while he was married to his first wife, Maureen Starkey. The disc has a sticker denoting "Factory Sample / Not For Sale" on the label. It should be highlighted that Maureen attended the recording of the song during the brief rooftop performance at the Apple building. At the tail end of the song, Maureen's clapping is audible and Paul McCartney says "Thank you, Mo" in response. Given her acknowledgement on the track, as well as it being in Ringo and Maureen's collection makes this a truly remarkable and exceptional collector's item. Maureen later married Isaac Tigrett, a co-founder of the mega-popular Hard Rock Café restaurant chain and House of Blues concert venue chain, and this was in their collection as well. Frame is in 12 ½" x 17 ¾". Has a plaque in the bottom center portion, "'Get Back' / Apple Records 45 RPM / Owned by / Ringo Starr / From the collection of / Maureen Starkey & Isaac Tigrett." Disc appears to be GEM-MT 10. Frame is in Near Mint condition with light handling wear. Comes with the original Apple paper sleeve and is in GD-VG 4 condition. Comes with a copy of an LOA from Jeffrey Gold of RecordMecca, as well two color photos for display purposes only (including a shot of Maureen on the roof), vintage newspaper clippings and photos about the Starkeys, along with a newspaper clipping about Tigrett.
