Karl Von Enhumber (1811-1867) self-titled The Broken Rake. Oil on board. Christie's tags on verso for September 3, 2018 Lot 189. Also on verso, is a Dominion Gallery of Montreal label with title of painting and specs. Potential signature on lower bottom left when reviewed under UV light. Housed in a gold gesso frame and lined in green velvet, Measures approximately 8.25 inches wide by 10.25 inches high. Outside of frame measures approximately 14.5 inches wide by 16.5 inches high. Karl Von Enhumber was born and painted in Germany. His art has sold for over $11,000 at auction.
